Before you start analyzing your portfolio against the market benchmark, you should configure the parameters to use for the calculations and display.
- In the toolbar, click Configure data. The Configure data dialog is displayed. Select the method by which the RSI is calculated and displayed.
- Select the parcel RSI aggregation method for multi-roof properties from one of these options:
- Worst score in parcel: Select this option to set the parcel RSI to the minimum RSI detected across all roofs on the parcel. So, the worst-case RSI drives the values for multi-roof parcels.
- Largest roof's score: Select this option to set the parcel RSI to the RSI of the largest roof on the parcel.
- Roof area-weighted average: Select this option to set the parcel RSI to the area-weighted average RSI across all roofs, with weights proportional to the roof area with the primary roof receiving the greatest weight. Choose this option when you want the parcel RSI to represent the overall parcel exposure emphasizing the primary (largest) roof while reducing the impact of smaller secondary roofs.
- Parcel mean: Select this option to set the RSI the average RSI of all the roofs on the parcel.
- Select the source to use for displaying the individual property RSI.
- Benchmark data: This is the market benchmark RSI, which will provide a fair comparison.
- Workspace data: This is the RSI from your workspace data that includes edited (using the Spotlight Editor) and boundaries, and survey results from other dates.
- Click Close.
