Overview
This article outlines the steps required to integrate Nearmap imagery into OpenGov Cartegraph software. The integration leverages the ArcGIS Online Custom Basemap Gallery, allowing users to access their imagery and features within the OpenGov platform using their ArcGIS Online credentials. OpenGov supports most of the standard aerial imagery formats supported by ArcGIS Online.
NOTE: This integration is also possible in ArcGIS Portal, but ensure that your Portal is correctly configured and accessible by OpenGov.
Prerequisites
Before you begin the integration process, ensure that you have the following:
- An ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Portal account with administrative privileges.
- An OpenGov software account.
- Aerial imagery files ready for upload. This could either be static images in GeoTIFF/JPEG format or a web mapping service from an API.
- WMS 2.0 for geofenced area
- Tile API for nation-wide basemap of latest captures using WGS84 which is excellent for web environments
- Access to ArcGIS Online Custom Basemap Gallery.
