Roof Assessment data can be exported to a CSV file for further analysis.
Exporting data
- To export all of the sites in your portfolio, simply click Export on the Roof Assessment home page.
- To export selected sites, use the filter to narrow down to the list of properties you wish to export. Click Export.
Export summary
Once you click Export, the export summary is displayed in the Export CSV dialog. It details the number of sites, number of rows in the export and the email address to which the download link for the export will be sent.
To include roof and building detections in your export, select Include detections. A row will be added to the export CSV file for each detection for the site.
Select Include geometry to include the building and roof boundary data in the exported file. Note that the resulting CSV file may be larger if this option is selected.
Next, the Manage notification preferences dialog is displayed, which provides a link to the Notifications page in MyAccount if you wish to change your email or in-app notification settings. Alternatively, click Manage preferences to do this. Select the Don't show this again option if required.
Completing the export
In the Export CSV dialog, click Start Export. A notification to indicate that the export has commenced is displayed in the Notifications panel.
As soon as the export is completed and the CSV is available for download, you will receive an email. Click DOWNLOAD CSV in the email to download the CSV file with the exported data.
Alternatively, you can start the download from the Roof Assessment Notifications panel by clicking the Download button.
In both of the download methods above, a notification that the download has started will be displayed in the Roof Assessment app and the file will be downloaded to your default downloads folder. A sample file is shown below. For details about the contents of the exported file, see Contents of the CSV file.
If you’re using Firefox, a new browser tab may briefly open before the download starts.
If you're using Safari on a Mac, you'll see the content if the CSV displayed in the same tab. Click the browser’s Back button to return to Roof Assessment, then download the CSV file from the Notifications panel.
File naming convention
The report file name follows this naming convention: <export date>-<export time HHMMSS>.csv. For example, 20260325-031718.csv.
