A swimming pool that contains water, but the water is in a state that would not be safe to swim in (e.g. green, brown, or murky).
◾️ Pools containing green or brown water
◾️ Pools where the water is murky, or not uniform in colour. This is an early sign of an unmaintained pool
◾️ Pools where the water surface is completely covered with algae
◾️ All types of swimming pools with signs of unmaintained water - in ground, above ground, etc.
◾️ Pools not completely covered where you can see evidence of water not suitable for swimming
◾️ Empty pools with no water at all
◾️ Pools under construction
◾️ Completely covered pools (for example, with a tarp completely over the water)
◾️ Maintained pools with clear water with no colour variation
◾️ Pools with clear blue water that contain fallen debris, such as branches. This debris can be easily removed, and does not indicate water quality not suitable for swimming.
◾️ Maintained pools with an interior surface in a colour such as green or black
◾️ Puddles of water not in swimming pools, such as water-filled potholes or roof ponding
