Integrating Nearmap Imagery into Trimble SketchUp Pro 2014
Trimble SketchUp® Pro is able to integrate georeferenced Google imagery but does not yet support georeferenced Nearmap imagery. Nonetheless, it is possible to import Nearmap imagery as a JPG without georeferencing, which may be useful depending on your needs.
- Select Import... under the File menu.
- Select your JPG of interest. "Use as image" should be checked on the right side of the window.
- Position and size your image in 3D as desired. Clicking the origin to position the image, dragging it out, and double-clicking to place the image should locate it in the z=0 plane.
