There are two ways to create a new project in the PROJECTS dialog:
- Click NEW PROJECT in the Project dialog. An untitled project is created.
- By default, your work area is saved as a project called "Untitled Project".
Name your project by clicking on the default project name.
NOTE: Add labels to your project to keep better track of your work. Click and type a label name where you see +Add Label and press Enter. Alternatively, select an existing label from the list of labels, which appears when you click on +Add Label.
Projects are automatically saved as you make changes, so there is no need to manually save your projects. The project will save the way you last left it. In other words, when you re-open the project it will be at the same zoom, rotation, base layer, etc. as it was when you last left it.
NOTE: You cannot share projects with other MapBrowser users.
Renaming a projectTo rename a project, double-click the project name. Type the new name and press Enter.
Alternatively, click the context menu and select Rename.
You can rename a project in both the MY PROJECTS and ARCHIVED tabs.
