Power up your workflow with Nearmap
Nearmap gives your organization three simple ways to plug current and historical Nearmap content into your workflows — including GIS, CAD, 3D visualisation, and asset management platforms.
Three simple ways to integrate content to your workflow
Nearmap provides you with several convenient ways to consume our content in your GIS, CAD, BIM, 3D visualisation or asset management applications. Integrations let you import content you've exported from MapBrowser, stream content using WMS 2.0, or access and share Nearmap imagery inside of ArcGIS.
MapBrowser is a lightweight web application included with any Nearmap subscription. With the built-in Export tool, you can quickly export georeferenced imagery (choose projection) and 3D content to use inside your preferred third-party applications. Nearmap AI datasets can also be exported. LEARN MORE
WMS 2.0 Integration
WMS 2.0 is perfect for users looking to load high-resolution Nearmap imagery on demand. Generate a simple or custom WMS URL from your Nearmap profile, then copy and paste that URL into your third-party application to stream Nearmap Vertical content. Simple WMS provides only the most recent imagery for your geographic area of interest, whereas Custom WMS allows for more flexibility, offering geofencing and time navigation. Layers are listed by capture date and region for easy selection. Improve accuracy by choosing geodetic datums and local projections applicable for your region. LEARN MORE
Esri ArcGIS Marketplace
Search and access Nearmap Vertical imagery in the Esri ArcGIS Marketplace. Once provisioned, share to your groups within your ArcGIS Online account. Users can stream vertical imagery inside ArcGIS Online, add imagery to other ArcGIS products, or configure imagery within third-party applications built on ArcGIS software. This is a simple, effective integration method for users who rely heavily on the ArcGIS platform and other Esri cloud-based solutions. LEARN MORE
Creating bespoke applications
Nearmap APIs allow developers to build custom applications with our library of high resolution imagery and location content. Our APIs are consistent, secure, easy to manage, and adaptable to a variety of different use cases and platforms. With Nearmap APIs, you can confidently develop solutions knowing you always have access to the latest data from a single source of truth.
What you use it for
If you want to use Nearmap imagery as the base map in a web application, including the ability to pan and zoom, use our Tile API in conjunction with our Coverage API.
|Coverage API||Use the Nearmap Coverage API to get a list of surveys by date for a location(by polygon, point, and tile coordinate), which you can then use with Nearmap's Tile API. ||Vertical|
The easiest way to display a small amount of imagery in a web page is by using our Image API. Use it when you want to display a single property, for example.
DSM and True Ortho API
Access a subset of Nearmap’s 3D content to view, map, and model residential and small commercial properties.
