The Global view of your portfolio is displayed when you first log in to Betterview Portfolio Intelligence. This view displays a distribution of the properties in your portfolio as hexagonal bins displayed between zoom levels of 5 and 10. As you zoom in on the map, the hexagons will split into smaller, more granular hexagons that present aggregates across the zoomed-in area.
Map view
On the right, you can see the distribution of the properties in your portfolio as bins of different colors on the map. As a default, each color represents a range of average Roof Index Spotlight (RSI) score for the properties in a bin. Click on a bin to view its Average Roof Score, Vulnerability scores, Area, and Building and Property count.
Information view
On the left, you will see the following sections displaying detailed information:
- Total number of properties in the portfolio and the number of properties displayed at the current zoom level
- Roof Spotlight Index
- Properties Heatmap
- Flags
- Sections for Hail, Wind, Wildfire, and Hurricane Vulnerability
Roof Spotlight Index
The Roof Spotlight Index (RSI) section shows the average RSI in each bin on the map while the RSI bar shows the distribution of properties across the top three RSI score bands. The bar updates to display the distribution as you zoom in and out on the map.
Properties Heatmap
The Properties Heatmap section shows the breakdown of the number of properties in each bin at the current zoom level. Zooming in and out updates the heatmap. The map view corresponds to the properties heatmap.
Flags
The Flags section displays the number of properties based on the selected flag filter. You can narrow down your search further by selecting to show one either cleared or uncleared flags. For example, if you select Trampoline, Portfolio Intelligence will display the number of properties where trampolines have been detected.
In addition, the map will be updated to show the bins that contain the properties with trampolines for both cleared and uncleared flags within the visible map area.
Vulnerability
A section each for Hail, Wind, Wildfire, and Hurricane events displays a visual of the number of properties in the portfolio broken down by their vulnerability score for different weather events including hail, wind, wildfires and hurricanes.
