Using the Map view
The Map View lets you visually assess the detected roof conditions. Click Map on the home page to switch to Map view.
This view has two panels - the left panel displaying a data dashboard and the right displaying the map with all the sites in your list.
You can filter the data by the RSI score by clicking the Filter button. Select the lowest RSI you wish to filter on. All properties within the range of the selected RSI will be displayed.
If a site contains multiple roofs and a filter is applied, the app highlights the roof with the lowest RSI while still displaying the RSI values for the remaining roofs, even if they fall outside the selected range.
You can select multiple values to filter by, and the map will be updated to display the filtered properties.
Left panel
The left panel contains several sections that display data as well as graphs that indicate the distribution of data across the number of roofs. The data is based on Nearmap Gen 6 AI. Each graph displays a legend that indicates the RSI/detection/roof material. Using a combination of all of these detections, you can spot emerging issues and plan maintenance tasks.
Summary
This section displays the total number of sites, the number of roofs detected, the total roof area, the lowest and the highest roof area. Note that if you apply any filter, this section is updated to display a summary of the filtered data, and not the viewing area of the map.
RSI by Roofs
This section shows the distribution of roofs by the RSI score. This gives you a good indication of the condition of the roofs at properties in your portfolio or according to the filter applied.
Detections
This section shows the distribution of roofs by AI roof detections, which is a set of detected roof conditions. The data here is grouped by the condition detected and displayed for your portfolio or according to the filter applied. For a complete list of detections, see the article AI Detections in Roof Assessment.
Roof Material
This section shows the distribution of roofs by the roof material grouped by each material detected.
Right panel
The right panel displays the map with color-coded clusters of indicators for each site based on the lowest RSI for the site. Hovering on an indicator displays the number of sites the indicator represents.
Continuously clicking on an indicator keeps zooming in to the location until you finally click on a single indicator for a specific location.
You can further drill down right to the site level by clicking the indicator until the site imagery is displayed. Here you can view imagery and compare the site details between two surveys.
