Nearmap provides spectacular high-resolution aerial photography of selected residential, commercial and industrial areas. When you view our imagery through WMS, you'll see a dramatic difference between our areas of coverage, and areas in which only lower-resolution satellite imagery is available.
Here's an example. In the bottom-left corner of the screen, you'll see where our survey imagery ends, and the background is filled in with third-party satellite imagery. At high zooms, while Nearmap imagery is clear and details are crisp, the third-party imagery will appear pixelated or blurry.
