The left panel in both Map and List views displays the following data:
- Portfolio summary
- RSI distribution
- Worst RSI to benchmark difference
- Flags breakdown
How to interpret the above is described in the sections below. The data displayed in this panel is updated when you apply filters. The left and right panels (Map and List views) are always synced depending upon the filters applied.
Reading the portfolio summary
The Portfolio summary panel gives you the following figures for the current view:
- Properties - The total number of properties included, for example 105,983.
- Portfolio RSI mean - The average RSI across your properties, for example 53.8. The badge beside it shows the change against the benchmark, for example +0.5, so you can see at a glance whether your portfolio sits above or below the market.
- Benchmark RSI - The average RSI for the market data, for example 53.3.
- 30 day renewals - The number of policy renewals coming up in the next 30 days.
- TIV - Total insured value
Interpreting the RSI distribution
The RSI distribution chart shows how your properties are distributed across RSI bands and sets that distribution against the area total. The histogram plots the percentage of parcels in each band across the 0 to 100 scale. Below it, two columns break the distribution down as a percentage and a count for:
- Portfolio distribution - The distribution of your portfolio properties in each band, for example 12.2% (11,998) in the middle band.
- Area total distribution - The distribution of properties in each band in the area, for example 12.5% (103,653) in the same band.
Comparing the two columns shows you whether your portfolio is concentrated in higher or lower condition bands than the broader market. The darker color represents the distribution of properties in your portfolio while the lighter color represents the distribution of properties in the area.
In the example above, your portfolio is more or less similar to the area's total distribution.
This is displayed in both Map and List views.
Reviewing the worst RSI to benchmark differences
The Worst RSI to benchmark differences chart displays the areas where your portfolio underperforms the benchmark by the widest margin. Use the tabs to group the comparison by County, State, ZIP (ZCTA), Agent, or Land use.
The chart then lists the groups with the largest negative gap, showing the difference value alongside each.
Each row plots two bars so you can compare directly: a darker bar for your Portfolio and a lighter bar for the Benchmark. A negative value means your portfolio scores below the benchmark for that group, which points you toward the segments that most warrant attention.
Analyzing the Flags breakdown chart
The Flags breakdown chart shows the distribution of your flags across your portfolio properties and also responds to the filters applied. Hovering over the bars displays the total number of flags set, the number of flags cleared and uncleared.
