This document explains how to update an existing version of the add-in with the newer version.
- Start ArcGIS for Desktop.
- In Customize menu select Toolbars > Customize.
- In the list of toolbars, scroll down and locate Nearmap Toolbar. Un-tick the box beside it, then click Close.
- In Customize menu select Add-In Manager…
- On Add-Ins Tab, select the Nearmap Imagery AddIn under My Add-Ins section if it is not already selected.
- Now click the Delete this Add-In button and the Yes button on the confirmation message, then click Close.
- Close all windows of ArcGIS for Desktop. This step is important as it ensures that the older version is correctly removed.
- Download the Nearmap Add-In for ArcGIS from the download page: https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=61d387b9631342c4939b34238d3890c5
- Open the downloaded file, and click Install Add-in.
- Click OK.
- Open ArcGIS for Desktop.
- In Customize menu select Toolbars > Customize.
- In the list of toolbars, scroll down and locate Nearmap Toolbar. Tick the box beside it, then click Close.
Add-in is now installed and is ready to use.
