Nearmap NIR is Nearmap's 4-band infrared imagery. Nearmap NIR Offline is the offline offering of 4-band Near Infrared imagery to capture imagery in RGB and the near infrared spectrum. Nearmap NIR) aerial imagery leverages remote sensing technology through airborne sensors to capture data in the near-infrared spectrum. NIR imagery supports various geospatial applications in Government, Utilities and Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industries. NIR vertical imagery provides essential data insights, enabling informed decision-making, resource optimization, and enhanced efficiency across multiple sectors. Nearmap NIR is offered in raw 4-band imagery format (GeoTIIFF). Typically the imagery is processed through external mapping software like ArcGIS Pro or Global Mapper to create NIR derivative indices such as Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI).
NOTE: Currently, Nearmap only offers Nearmap NIR as an offline vertical imagery deliverable.
Nearmap NIR produces imagery in GeoTIFF format that can seamlessly integrate with Geographical Information Systems (GIS), design software and many other mapping platforms providing geospatial context to the collected data. With this release, you can request for offline delivery of NIR imagery.

How to get NIR Offline
You need to have a subscription for NIR Offline. Once you get your subscription, contact your Nearmap Account Manager to request your NIR Offline imagery.
