Nearmap Offline content is Nearmap content that is delivered to customers via downloadable links. Offline content is available as Vertical, 3D and AI imagery in different formats, and is identical to what users see in MapBrowser. Offline content is currently available on request to customers:
We strongly recommend that you use the MapBrowser Advanced export to download 2D and 3D imagery in different formats.
Requesting offline content
To request offline content, follow these steps:
- Upload your Area of Interest (AOI) using the link Nearmap provides. The AOI file can be a KML or a zipped shapefile.
Note: MapBrowser Advanced export allows for exporting an AOI uploaded as a GeoJSON file. - Provide details of the date(s) for which you require the imagery. We will check the availability of the required imagery against our coverage and share the details with you.
NOTE: If full coverage is not available for your requested AOI, you will still receive imagery masked as NoData where there's no coverage. - Specify the format in which you require the imagery if you are requesting Vertical or 3D content.
- Specify the tile size.
- Specify the coordinate system.
- For AI Offline, provide details of the AI Packs, or the list of AI Layers you require.
IMPORTANT: Nearmap does not offer any raster post-processing, such as building mosaic datasets, building pyramids, or calculating raster statistics.
