It replaces three legacy, single‑provider point products, Roofing, Siding, and Flooring, with a consolidated, priced service per‑claim that integrates into adjuster workflows inside Xactimate. Claims data is backed by two leading providers to improve coverage and market accuracy.

How it works
Total Price targets the full materials' list for property claims (roofing, siding, flooring and interior materials), and maps to Verisk/Xactimate material line items.
Data in Verisk/Xactimate is organized in a hierarchical manner. It is recommended that you review how Verisk/Xactimate estimation data is structured, covered in the article Verisk/Xactimate Estimation Hierarchy.
Total Price currently overrides prices only for Verisk material line items.
Total Price uses two proprietary data sources to broaden market signals and provide redundancy. Adjusters select materials in Xactimate; when a Total Price-covered line item is selected, the platform fetches a market price and overrides the line item price while preserving the familiar Xactimate label.
Total Price provides a pricing report that summarizes which components were overridden and which pricing sources were used, and for components not covered the native Xactimate price is left unchanged. For multi‑component items and self‑referencing line items, Total Price carries out overrides only for components it covers and surfaces details in the pricing report; representation and level of detail may be tailored by audience, with adjusters seeing granular line‑item detail and executive or category‑level audiences seeing consolidated category pricing. An updated materials' list is published monthly.

Verisk line item 012345 (asphalt shingle) → Total Price override applied; if a dependent accessory component lacks an override, it remains native Xactimate price.
