Placing a Bulk Order

One feature that our customers find very useful is bulk ordering. This tool allows you to place an order for hundred to thousands of properties by dragging and dropping a CSV into our bulk uploader. To learn how, see below:

Step 1: On the top left side of the Betterview Dashboard, click on the three lines.

Step 2: Select the Bulk Upload menu item.

Step 3: Upload your file

If you don't have our Bulk-Order Template you can download our template from that screen, just click on the blue template link to download that.

If you already have our template, you can choose that file to upload or drag and drop it into this area. You can view our Template explained here. Each row represents a single property order. For each row, make sure that the required columns are populated:

Address
City
State
Zip
External ID
Product Identifier (your product type)

Step 4: Review Order Summary

After you upload your file and click VALIDATE.

If there are any issues/errors they will be displayed on the screen

If you receive a warning message for Product Type Validation that means that the product identifier you included isn't 1:1 with the names of the products your org can order. If you don't resolve this issue, all orders will be placed using your default product type.
The Template header needs to be all lower case, for example 'address' is accepted but 'Address' is not and it will give an error.

Step 6: Place Order

Click SUBMIT and the system will start working on your order.
The total processing time depends on the number of properties submitted as well as the size of those properties (larger properties = longer processing time).
Once the processing is complete, you will be re-directed to a page with the details of the properties uploaded.
