You can upload a list containing multiple sites into the Roof Assessment application via a CSV file. Create a CSV file with the list of sites you want to upload.
CSV file format
The CSV file must adhere to a specific format, the template for which can be downloaded via the Roof Assessment application. Instructions for doing this are provided in the next section.
If your CSV file includes latitude and longitude values for a site, those values will be used to identify the site instead of the site address. However, the site address must be provided in the CSV file.
Uploading sites
To upload sites stored in your CSV file:
- Click the Upload button in the top right as described in this article. The Upload CSV dialog is displayed.
- Click Download CSV template to save a copy of the template.
- Use the template and fill out the required site data.
- Once done, upload the CSV file by clicking Click to choose a file or drop to upload. You can upload a maximum of 10,000 sites at a time.
- Navigate to the folder where the file is stored, select the file and click Open. If the CSV is not in the correct format, a list of errors is displayed.
- Ensure that you're using the correct template. Correct the errors and upload the file again. The sites in the CSV will be appended to the existing sites and displayed at the top of the list of sites.
