Vertical Offline is Nearmap Vertical content that is delivered to US customers via downloadable links or a hard drive delivery. Offline content can be utilized within 3rd party geospatial software, such as QGIS and ESRI products. This content is available in different formats, and is identical to what users see in MapBrowser. Vertical Offline is currently available on request to customers as a delivery mechanism to support emergency response in the event of a network failure.
Delivery mechanism
Vertical Offline is available as a file download or a hard drive delivery. File downloads are possible from an Amazon S3 bucket or through Dropbox. Hard drives are recommended for larger offline deliveries.
When you request offline content, you will receive an email with the following attachments:
- For AWS and Dropbox deliveries, a text file is provided with online downloadable links.
- For Dropbox downloads, a PDF file is included with instructions on unpacking zip files with 7zip.
Review the articles in this section for details on delivery formats and instructions for downloading and using Vertical Offline content.
