Use the measurement tools to measure length and area on the map with the following tools:
- Line
- Polygon
- Rectangle
- Circle
NOTE: Any measurements that you draw on the map will be available only in the current session.
To measure, follow these steps:
- Click to select the required measurement tool.
- Click on a point in the map to start measuring.
- Drag to the point(s) to measure and double-click to finish measuring.
Measurements are shown on the map. To delete a measurement, click to select the line or area. Press the Delete key.
To add a note on the map, click the Text tool and then click on the point in the map where you want to add the text. Type the required text and click away from the text box to finish.
These tools are available in the Parcel Top, Neighborhood Top and Map views, and will be displayed in all views.
