This article aims to keep you informed about the current limitations and any known issues in the Nearmap Roof Assessment product. Reviewing these will help you understand what to expect and make the most of the features while we continue refining the product.
Limitations
- Single Workspace support: Currently, each organization can create and manage only one workspace.
- Annotations for Oblique imagery: It is not possible to add annotations while viewing Oblique imagery.
- Roof splits and edited boundaries: Roof splits and edited site boundaries are not carried over from one survey to the next, and will need to be done again for new surveys.
- Email notifications: You will not receive emails when new survey updates are available.
- On-Demand processing: Processing imagery for an arbitrary date on-demand is not available at this time.
Known issues
CSV Export on Safari (Mac)
When exporting a Roof Assessment portfolio using Safari on a Mac, the CSV file opens in the same browser tab once the export completes, instead of downloading automatically.
Workaround - Click the Back button in your browser to return to Roof Assessment and download the CSV from t he Notifications panel.
