Improvements to Nearmap Delegated Authentication are now live in MyAccount! With this, users who subscribe to Nearmap Delegated Authentication can access Nearmap applications with their organization's Identity Access Management(IAM) solution. Users with an existing subscription for Delegated Authentication can get their administrator to now set up and manage Delegated Authentication in MyAccount. Read on for the details.
Access Nearmap with your IAM solution credentials
With a subscription for Nearmap Delegated Authentication, your Nearmap account administrator can set up a connection to your Identity Access Management(IAM) solution in Nearmap MyAccount, which will allow you to access Nearmap applications with the same credentials you use for accessing systems within your organization.
Your administrator can also enable Just-in-time Provisioning to allow new users to be automatically provisioned to access Nearmap applications.
Assign multiple domains
Your Nearmap administrator can assign multiple domains to your Nearmap connection against which users will be authenticated to access Nearmap applications.
At any time, your Nearmap administrator can also choose to use Nearmap credentials if it's required.
We are already working on the next phase of improvements whereby your administrator will be able to verify your organization's domains.
