We're back with significant UI enhancements to the Nearmap Impact Response system (previously called Betterview CAT Response System). Read on for the details…
Introduction
The ImpactResponse System provides quick and accurate insights about catastrophic events to help insurance claims teams prioritize resources, start claims before FNOL (First Notice of Loss), assess damage and more accurately predict portfolio profitability.
The ImpactResponse System uses Nearmap Damage Classifications AI comprised of a selection of AI data which can assist in quick triage and assessment of damages to impacted properties to plan the appropriate response.
Enhancements
- The legacy interface has been upgraded with a new base map that makes it easier to view the geospatial boundaries of the event and the number of properties affected. The latter is denoted in multiple colors to indicate the extent of damage.
- The list of geospatial boundaries is now organized by category, and you can control the visibility using the options at the bottom of the map.
- Interface updates that allow easier filtering of event boundaries, vulnerability scores, and Damage Classifications AI.
- Access to imagery including historical imagery: View surveys from any date, including all of our regular captures for more comprehensive reviews.
- Mirror Mode: Compare and contrast surveys from different dates side-by-side for adjusters to easily investigate damage and property changes.
- Confidence Score of Damage Classifications AI: Confidence score has now been added to ensure full transparency and empower claims adjusters to make confident decisions.
