Accelerate insight-gathering with Nearmap AI
Nearmap AI uses machine learning to detect structures and features contained within a property boundary. Paired with our rich historic catalogue of high resolution imagery, it allows you to easily view the relevant AI Layers in MapBrowser.
With this new powerful content type, you can now automate your insight gathering. Nearmap AI has been pre-processed at full resolution on our Australian and US Vertical imagery coverage.
AI Layers in MapBrowser
AI Layers enables you to add a visual overlay on Vertical imagery in MapBrowser. We have a growing list of AI Packs available* for you to choose from — including swimming pools, solar panels, tree overhang, and residential roof characteristics.
All you need to do is go to the location of interest, open the Projects Workspace on the left hand panel, and select the relevant AI Layers. Using the control panel on the right, you can adjust the display to play with the colour, brightness and opacity, and even darken the background to minimise distractions and make the AI Layers ‘pop’.
*Make sure you check with your Nearmap Administrator to see which data layers are available in your subscription.
AI Parcel Export
NOTE: AI data cannot be exported from MapBrowser effective from Feb 21, 2023. AI data exported from MapBrowser prior to this date will be available to download. However, it is possible to request for an offline export of AI data.
