Exorbitant increase in costs

In 2022 my Nearmap Oblique 250 MB subscription cost me $2065.80.

In 2023 it also cost $2065.80.

In 2024 it cost $2582.25.

For 2025 my invoice is for $2,969.59.

Why has the fee increased by $903.79 in 2 years?

    This is unacceptable! Last year, I attempted to cancel my subscription but was forced into another year at a higher price.
    Now, I am trying to unsubscribe, but nobody answers the phone or responds to my emails, despite several calls and messages.
    Please consider this my formal request to unsubscribe.

    I am really sorry to hear that you have had trouble getting in touch with us. We had a minor error with our phone line that was incorrectly routing calls. This has been corrected. Thanks for pointing this out and I apologise that you had such trouble getting in touch with us.

    I have looked into your account and can see that we have, also, received your email and have responded to you. I will also send a follow up, with some additional account specific information to you, that should solve your query to your satisfaction.

    Regarding the cancellation of Nearmap accounts Australian customers should receive three email reminders for their account renewal. We require Australian customers to provide us 7-days notice, before their renewal, to be able to cancel their subscription.
