Hi Pravav 👋 Welcome to the Nearmap Community!

It's easy to confuse the survey date as the photo date of the image you are currently viewing.

The Survey date, shown at the bottom of your MapBrowser, marks the first date when we start covering your area of interest. Due to the nature of aerial photography, a lot of factors can affect the way we capture such as weather, turbulence, air traffic control, etc. We will sometimes take several days to capture an area.

Use the Marker Tool to find the exact photo date of the image you are viewing. This is done by dropping a location marker and viewing the details in the Inspector Panel (on the right).
