Issues with not seeing new maps

I am having an issue when looking at maps, the last date I can see is for July 2025. However, when I search for a particular address in Resources/Coverage and put the address in, it states the imagery is from October 2025. Other people in the organisation can see the current maps, but myself and one of my colleagues can only see up to July 2025. Is there a broken link somewhere? Thank you.

    Hi @Melissa_34033,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Browser are, by default, designed to store content and to load this content to speed up the browsing experience for users. This can on occasion cause issues. When you search a location on the MapBrowser it will make a coverage check for that location. If you visited the location previously its possible for your browser to believe that it already has the response from the coverage check so it loads this rather than request it itself. If the browser loads an old coverage check it might not display newer captures that are released. If this is the problem its a quick fix. Save all your work on all your browsers and clear your cookies and cached data. You can find steps for this here. Alternatively you can quickly test if this is the issue by opening a clean Incognito Chrome window and visiting the location in the MapBrowser.

If that does not fix the issues would you please be able to share the MapBrowser location? You can do this by dropping a pin on the location and clicking the MapBrowser link button in the dialogue box. I would love to be able to check the location myself.

Let me know how your go.

    Thanks
    Brendan

  • Hi there Brendan, thank you for getting back to me. I cleared out my cache and cookies before I sent this request. I did just try using Incognito and it still doesn't work. Here is the link https://apps.nearmap.com/maps/#/@-27.6370641,152.7757233,21.00z,0d/V+R/20250719?locationMarker

I know our spatial mapping at work points to Near Maps and it has more updated images. I am terribly confused!

    Hey @Melissa_34033,

Your welcome. Happy to help. Thanks for confirming the location.

The latest imagery at that location is Monday October the 27th 2025. Is this the survey that your missing? This survey was captured based on our Impact Response program. This is a service that can be subscribed to that grants you access to additional captures, outside our normal capture program, for natural disasters. We will capture these surveys immediately after these natural disasters to help with recovery efforts and risk assessment. The survey captured for October the 27th was listed as "Ipswich-Brisbane Hail".

If colleagues of yours are able to access that survey, and you are not, it would be related to the subscription that you have been added to. Accounts can have multiple subscriptions with access to different content and services. This could be types of imagery / content or services like API access. If you need access to this imagery you will need to speak to your account admin and ask them to move you to the subscription with Impact Response. You can find your admins on this page here.

    I hope that this helps.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or want to discuss further.

    Kind regards,
    Brendan
