Mulch Bed Ai Layers

Hello, I really enjoy the AI Vegetation layers, but I noticed it does not have mulch beds as one of the options. This would be an option layer option !

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    Unfortunately this is not an AI Layer that we have within our system. I would however be interested in working with you to investigate if this is something that would could build and develop in the future. To complete this there is a bit of information I would need for you to provide. I have sent you an email with the forms that we need completed to be able to raise the feedback.

    Out of interest would you be able to provide more information regarding how you would like to use this AI Layer? Eg:

    1. Are you wanting the see the sizes of the mulch beds to quote customer jobs against?
    2. Are you hoping to identify work sites or customers with Mulch Beds?
    3. Or is there another reason?

    Yes this would be ideal, I would like to see the size to then quote customer jobs.

    1. Are you hoping to identify work sites or customers with Mulch Beds?

    I know the work sites where I will be bidding the jobs its a matter of them collecting the mulch bed areas quickly in those known areas. (i.e. HOA contracts, neighborhoods, commercial developments, etc.)

    1. Or is there another reason?

    No other reason, I need accurate total areas for mulch beds. The lowest vegetation layers do not work for this, and the highest get us 50% of the way there.

    Thanks for the additional information @Andrew_33568. This is interesting.

    I discussed your use case example with our Ontologist. We think the complexity with your ask will be what happens when the Mulch bed is occluded. So if its under a tree we would not be able to see the full extent of the mulch. What would your expectations be at this point? How would you want this identified.

    Regardless it would still be an interesting use case for us to investigate. I would encourage you to complete the paperwork and ill share that with the team. Ill also keep a case open to chase up and get a response to you when they have investigated the possibility.
