Renew Images?

Was wondering how often you renew your images ? IM working on a project and I still don't have up to date images for this site and last image taken was in early January. Will you guys get another one beofe end of year ? or do you take these annually ?

    Hi Lance,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    We have a set coverage plan. We build this plan using a number of factors. Some of these include:

    • Population density.
    • Our understanding of the locations value to our customers.
    • Development changes in the area.
    • How close the area is to other prioritized capture zones.

    As such each area has their own coverage estimates. Your region of interest might be a once off capture or may be slated for more than one capture. We will need to check the region of interest for you.

    We are always working to provide as much content for our customers as possible. The team do a really great job at meeting our coverage plans. There can though be issues with surveying that can delay or prevent us from capturing our content as per our plans. These include:

    • Weather concerns:
      • Cloud cover
      • Turbulence
      • Low angle of the sun (Which generates shadows that degrade our imagery).
    • Air traffic control directives.
