Do you know when the aerial imagery for Watsonia, Victoria, Australia will be updated? The latest image is from March this year (more than 5 months old). Thanks.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Melbourne has been especially difficult for us to capture this year. We have been significantly delayed with updates here. Primarily it has been a combination of Air Traffic Control directives and weather that has delayed our ability to update the region.

    To be clear its not always a cloudy sky that prevents us from flying. If the angle of the sun is too low when we survey an area then large shadows will degrade the imagery that we capture. As such this is a measure that we use to help determine if we can capture an area.

    The good news however is that we have finished surveying this region and are just processing the imagery. I expect the imagery to be released today.
