Can I view a different location in each side of Split View?
No, the intention of split view is to allow you to compare the same location at different times.
-
Can I view different imagery in one side, say Oblique on the left and Vertical on the right?
Currently, it's only possible to view the same base layer type in both the left and right frames.
-
Can I use your 3D in MapBrowser to do BIM?
Maybe, it depends on what information you would like to obtain. 3D in MapBrowser is largely about visualization, so if this helps you understand and manage your buildings then it may be helpful, but a lot of building information is managed as assets and for this you would need a third-party application.

Can I view Roads Overlay on top of imagery other than Nearmap Vertical?
Yes. You can also switch on Roads Overlay with either Nearmap Vertical imagery or Terrain as the base layer in MapBrowser.
-
Why is the measurement different to the equivalent one I made on the Oblique map?
The most difficult part of measuring using either method is accurately picking the top and bottom of the object due to shadows, obstructed views and the limits of resolution. With practice behaviour becomes more consistent, and in tests of measuring with both 3D and oblique images, results are consistently within about 1…

Can I preview my actual format (e.g. DSM) before I export it and get charged for it?
There is no way to preview DSM before it is exported, but the elevation values present in the DSM will reflect those seen in the 3D imagery in MapBrowser. For more information on exporting DSM, or any 3D content, read Export 3D.

Is there a file size limitation on the KML/KMZ that can be uploaded to MB?

Why don’t I see the latest surveys?
We do not normally limit the latest surveys by subscription. If you are not seeing the latest surveys at a location this may be because your browser thinks it has the information for that location so it is not requesting it from us and is instead loading it from a storage cache. If this is the issue it can easily be fixed…

Will the exported 3D look the same as the 3D displayed in MapBrowser?
The 3D displayed in MapBrowser 3D viewer is Cesium format. Exported 3D should have a very similar appearance to the 3D viewed in the Map Browser. If you are viewing the same capture, it will be the same content. However different formats and applications may display the extracted 3D in slightly different ways, which may…

Do viewing and measuring 3D content consume my data usage?
No. Viewing and measuring 3D content do not count towards your standard imagery data allowance. (This is unlike viewing 2D content - refer to About Data Usage for more information.)
